It is a mandatory requirement for working at sports stadiums such as St. Mary’s, The Ageas Bowl, Twickenham, and Wembley.

Course Content

The Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety 2 includes five mandatory units:

  • Support the work of your team and organisation

Assessment

  • Workplace Assessment – Learners must demonstrate competence by meeting required standards over time.
  • Simulation – Assessment is based on workplace performance.
  • Portfolio of Evidence – Learners must compile documentation showcasing their skills and knowledge.
  • ACT Awareness E-learning – Completion of counter-terrorism awareness training.
  • First Aid Training – Completion of a recognized first aid award

Progression

Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to:

  • Level 3 Certificate in Spectator Safety Supervision.

Recognized and regulated by NCFE, this qualification is widely acknowledged by educational institutions and employers, enhancing career prospects in spectator safety and related roles.

This qualification may lead to paid or voluntary roles as an event steward.
